(NYSE:TER - News) announced Infiniti Solutions Ltd, which offers test services in the Silicon Valley through its VIKO Test Lab, has purchased the FLEX(TM) test system to expand device test market opportunities for its Test Lab in Santa Clara, CA. Infiniti Solutions will use the FLEX to enhance their engineering development capability and widen their device test offerings for customers. In the Silicon Valley, Infiniti Solutions Ltd designs, develops and manufactures burn-in products, and provides burn-in/package qualification and test services for the semiconductor industry. |

Infiniti team secures US$36m from 3i and EDBI, takes first step in bid to become a world-class semiconductor business |

| Singapore -- 21 November, 2002 -- Singapore-based Infiniti Solutions Pte Ltd (Infiniti) today announced that it has secured funding of US$36 million from leading international venture capital and private equity firm 3i, EDB Investments (EDBI) and management.
The investment provides funding and support which underpins Infiniti’s expansion strategy as it seeks to build a world-class business in the high-growth semiconductor test and assembly sector. It also helps Infiniti achieve the first milestone in its global business roadmap with the acquisition of the second largest independent semiconductor prototype testing company in the US, Viko Technology (Viko).
